QUICK OVERVIEW White Dammar is a tall tree found in the Western Ghats. It grows up to 40 meters tall and has a grey bark, smooth young branchlets, and leaves that are alternately arranged. The leaves have an elliptical-oblong shape with a pointy or blunt apex at the tip. They grow up to 27 centimetres long and 10 centimetres wide, with an entire margin. Leaves have a rounded or heart shaped base with no teeth on the margin which is leathery in texture. Flowers grow from April to May but only show white petals with yellow anthers on branches in clusters.
